Travel + Leisure Magazine Names Santa Fe Third Best American Town


Santa Fe Award from Travel + Leisure

The City of Santa Fe has added another “favorite” award to its growing collection.  This time, readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine (also known as T+L) placed Santa Fe at #3 on the list of “Americas Favorite Towns.” The only two towns to beat out Santa Fe were Provincetown, MA and Park City, UT.  There were 30 towns total that won a spot on the list.

Not surprisingly, the New Mexico city ranked near the top of this year’s survey for its art scene, thanks to the galleries along Canyon Road and institutions like the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. It also ranked well for history—like its San Miguel Chapel, the nation’s oldest church, and even its restaurants…”
