Year after year, Darlene continues to be the #1 real estate Broker in Santa Fe and New Mexico.
Santa Fe real estate agent Darlene Streit has once again been named one of America’s top real estate professionals—in multiple categories—by a national organization. She is the only agent in Santa Fe to achieve this recognition.
Streit was cited by REAL Trends for being:
- 22nd in the entire country (out of 1.25 million agents) for total closed sales volume ($171 million)
- The 5th Individual Agent by sales volume in the Sotheby’s organization nationwide
This ranked Darlene as:
- The leading agent by sales volume in Santa Fe
- The leading agent by sales volume in New Mexico
- The leading agent in Santa Fe for homes valued at $1 million or more
- The only agent in Santa Fe to rank in the top 25 nationally
What makes Darlene’s achievements all the more noteworthy and commendable is that virtually every other agent ranked in the top 25 is from a major metropolitan area. These areas (Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Miami) have populations in the millions, and the number of homes bought and sold in a year is far greater than for Santa Fe – a population of approximately 80,000. In fact, most of the top-ranking agents come from cities whose populations are larger than for the entire state of New Mexico. A higher percentage of the total buyers and sellers in Santa Fe choose Darlene Streit than almost anywhere else in the country.
Speaking of the agents being honored, REAL Trends president Steve Murray said, “This elite group of sales associates are proven professionals who bring together innovative marketing solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with best-in-class customer service to consistently exceed their clients’ expectations.”
The REAL Trends ranking, which is advertised in The Wall Street Journal, is a ranking of all real estate agents across the U.S. The rankings are broken down into four categories ranking the top 250 individuals by transaction sides, individuals by sales volume, teams by transaction sides (sell or buy), and teams by sales volume. These four sets of 250 individual agents constitute the REAL Trends 1000.
“I’m very grateful to each of my clients for their trust,” said Darlene. “It is an honor to put my professional skills at their disposal, and see their pleasure with the results.”
REAL Trends’ The Thousand awards program was developed jointly by The Wall Street Journal, Custom Studios, and REAL Trends, a leading source of analysis and information for the residential real estate brokerage industry.
“The real estate sales professionals ranked in The Thousand have proven that they have the skills to grow their businesses year after year,” said REAL trends’ Murray. “The average agent ranked in The Thousand closed 204 transaction sides and the average team closed over 533 transaction sides. These kinds of results show that those who commit to being full-time professionals can build meaningful businesses and succeed beyond expectations. Achieving this level of results is simply incredible.”
The Thousand honors America’s finest real estate professionals and their companies and is compiled and analyzed by REAL Trends. Rankings are compiled based on surveys from virtually every national branded network, state and local associations of Realtors®, multiple listing services, all applicants from past years’ rankings, and the 1,752 largest brokerage firms in the United States.
