Conversation with Todd Oldham on Mid-Century Modern & Alexander Girard in MOIFA’s Vernick Auditorium, celebrating Mid-Century Modern and the traveling exhibit “Alexander Girard: A Designer’s Universe”

This conversation, introduced by Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Director Cody Harley, will be a conversation between MoIFA Curator of European & American Folk Art Collections, Laura Addison and design icon Todd Olham. His fashion and style has become known to millions through his fashion lines, interior designs, books and by appearing in many television shows. Oldham is also co-author of the massive monograph “Alexander Girard” (2011) which covers virtually every aspect of his distinctive career.

This lecture, co-organized by MoIFA and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, will explore modernist design which carry into the 21st century.
