The Summit Area

The Summit, and the High Summit, are two gated subdivisions surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest. And, as befits their name, they boast expansive views in all directions – quite literally. Downtown is just minutes away, and these mountainside residences offer a wide range of styles, with the lots being just as inviting. The roads are paved roads, there are City water and sewer services, and the buried electricity, natural gas, and high-speed internet make this community clutter-free and all the more attractive.

View-wise, residents can see north toward southern Colorado; south to the Sandias (Albuquerque’s mountains); east to the Sangre de Cristos; and west to the Jemez Mountains. Situated as it is barely outside of forest land, waking up to the sight of deer, bear, and other wildlife in one’s backyard is not unusual.
